Our First Ever Open Week

August 6, 2018

This week sees our first ever Open Week which we hope will allow all members of the local community to enjoy the golf club and it's facilities.

Over the years many golf clubs have become viewed by many as quite intimidating places. Various dress rules and etiquette standards at private clubs have forced many a potential golfer to stay away.

Head PGA Professional Mark Allen explains "I have grown up around golf my whole life and I believe that the gentlemanly etiquette that surrounds golf is a key element of the game but over the years golf clubs have developed a reputation of being stuffy and unwelcoming. This Open Week is our chance to show the local community that this is no longer the case."

For one week only we have drastically reduced our visitor green fee's and also added a £5 meal voucher for FREE. So for £18 you can play 18 holes and enjoy a bite to eat before or after play.

During the week there will be a Special offer for joining the club of 3 months FREE golf (£995 for 15 months) with discounted rates for various age groups. "Our membership levels are increasing at a fantastic rate, with over 100 new members in the last year. I believe this is because the condition of our course is superb and that our catering team are offering a fantastic service plus we have a great range of membership packages to choose from." Mark Allen explains.

So, if you live locally and have never been up to the club why not make this week your time to try us. You can call up to have some lunch in the clubhouse, have a lesson or to have a game. To book your tee time please call 01142349151 (option 4).

We look forward to seeing you soon.
