Next phase of re-opening - 12th April
We are about to enter the next phase of our return from lockdown. From the 12th April we will be allowed to serve food and drink to be consumed outside within the rule of 6 guidelines.
I am sure that all members will appreciate that the limitations on capacity and the extra staffing required make the decision to re-open a complicated one. We must ensure it is done in a safe and financially viable way.
After discussions with the Main Board, House Committee and staff members Carl and Natalie will be opening the bar and catering from 12:30 daily starting from the 12th April. However, all members and visitors must adhere to the following rules:
- To place an order, you must be sat down outside. A member of staff will approach your table to take the order, but we ask that members please be patient during busy times.
- We will be erecting a gazebo to protect customers from any inclement weather, and we ask that there is no smoking inside the gazebo at any time.
- Toilets may be used via the Ladies and Gents locker room entrances. Entry to the toilets is not permitted through the clubhouse.
Natalie will be offering a limited takeaway food menu throughout the week and a more substantial menu from 4pm on Thursdays through to Saturdays. Further details of these menus will be available at the club.
We hope all members will appreciate that there are many moving parts to the re-opening of these services and as such both the club and Carl & Natalie may decide to close if it is deemed sensible to do so. Any decisions will be notified to the membership in good time.
PRO SHOP & LOCKER ROOM
From the 12th April our Professionals shop will be open for full retail services and our locker rooms will be fully opened again. Face masks must always be worn, and social distancing guidelines must be adhered to.
