Etiquette

  • Rounds of golf are expected to be completed in no more than 4 hours. You can speed up play by:
  • Play ‘ready’ golf
  • Place your bag or trolley on the same side of the green, as you will leave it for the next tee
  • Marking your scorecard whilst waiting to take your next tee shot and not on the green after putting out
  • Walking to your own ball and be ready to play your next shot as soon as the green is clear and it is your turn to play
  • Allowing the match following to play through if a match fails to keep its place on the course and loses more than one hole on the players in front
  • Always repair pitch marks, replace divots and rake bunkers
  • Adhere to the three minute ruling when looking for your ball
  • Always be aware of your environment and those playing around you
  • Slow play is the bug bare of everybody. Please do not be embarrassed to let faster players through

IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF EVERYBODY TO ADHERE TO THE CLUB’S DRESS CODE AND TO BE CONSIDERATE IN APPLYING GOLF ETIQUETTE.

EVERY MEMBER IS ENCOURAGED TO CHALLENGE INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOUR ON AND OFF THE COURSE AS WELL AS UNSUITABLE ATTIRE.

THE CLUB WILL ALWAYS SUPPORT THOSE WHO TAKE REASONABLE ACTION IN UPHOLDING THESE STANDARDS.
